As every individual is different the levels of discomfort will vary. Techniques are applied to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Some report feeling a little scratch to even a tickle.
A consultation will be carried out prior to any procedure this comprises of a comprehensive medical questionnaire and a patch test to ensure that clients are suitable for the treatment.
Aftercare advice and products will be given to the client at the end of the initial treatment.
Please note that with a lip procedure, if you carry the Herpes virus, then it is advisable to use an anti-herpes cream (Zovirax) prior to the treatment and for 5 days after to reduce the risk of a breakout. It is also advisable to have used a lip scrub and a lip balm to prepare your lips for the treatment ensuring that they are in good condition to achieve the best results.
The effects are so subtle that only your closest friends will know and that is usually because you have told them. The aim is to define, even up and emphasize one's own natural beauty.
The pigment will fade over time although may not disappear completely. Some technicians will quote 2/5 years when in actual fact there is no guarantee as each individual will react differently & lifestyle plays a major role in its longevity. The aftercare advice is an important part of maintaining the effects of your semi-permanent make up.
Prior to the pigment being implanted your artist will design your new brow/eyeliner or Lip shape as well as advising which colours are the most suitable for your skin tone and hair colour. Only when you are happy with the results will the artist proceed with the implantation of the pigment.
My portfolio is available to view so that you can get an idea of the work I do. I will only show you my own actual before and after photos which are immediately after the treatment. This will hopefully give you confidence in my ability.
Remember this is a tattoo on your face and cannot be rubbed out, so I will only agree to perform the treatment if I am convinced that you are 100% sure, otherwise I will advise that you consider the treatment further.
