Today is a great day, as I am happy to announce the launch of my new website.
I can’t believe it – it’s finally here!!!
The last time I designed a website was almost 20yrs ago when I first started my own Permanent Make up business. I was super happy with it and felt such a sense of achievement as up until that point I had never even used a computer.
At first it felt overwhelming but once I began working my way around the site my excitement started building and before I knew it, I was tapping away, and uploading images, even managed to create a moving banner on the home page, this was my favourite part!!!
As technology began to improve, smart phones and iPads becoming part of everyday life my original website started to look and feel very tired and boring to the point whereby I decided that it was no longer beneficial to my business and certainly did not portray the “high” end service I believe I offer.
My business was growing, I had moved into new premises and with my treatment portfolio extended, it was “definitely” time to get with the programme and update the website in order to represent my client demographic.
For quite a while, I tried to create a new website myself thinking “I’ve done it once so I can do it again attitude” but with advances in technology I found it a lot harder than it was the first time around as well as the fact that at this point, I had a lot less time to spend on it.
So, I took the bull by the horns so to speak and instructed a local company to design a new website for me.
It also wasn’t so plain sailing as I still had to put in a lot of effort, why I thought otherwise I don’t know after all how would a website designer know instinctively what to write.
Covid locked us down for a second time which slowed down my progress a lot however not to bore you too my new website is finally “finished”
I’m finally very happy with my new site and would like to thank all my clients and friends who have taken the time to help me shape the website by sharing their thoughts and advice to create a user- friendly website which is informative, easy to navigate and visually appealing. I couldn’t have done it without. XXX
